OC Blogger Bash Extravaganza

The OC Blogger Bash Extravaganza at the Anaheim Orange County Visitor and Convention Center Bureau was spectacular! There was a lot of delicious food from the area, desserts & candy to nibble on. The 1960s themed event was attended by local area bloggers dressed in their favorite Mad Men themed outfits.

There was, music, a car show, dancing, prizes and a very fancy fashion show.

This event reminded me a lot of why I love the city of Anaheim. You can take a day trip or vacation in the area, stay a little or a lot and enjoy the Angels, the House of Blues, Medieval Times, Honda Center and many other local eateries with minimal driving distance. My favorite amusement parks, Disneyland, California Adventure and Knotts Berry Farm are also within miles of each other. The Anaheim convention is also home to many events and conferences including the bi-annual D23 Disney Expo (another favorite event).  One of the best features is the number of restaurants in the area including Roy’s Anaheim and RA Sushi.

The area also has a lot of friendly people that take pride in the community and get involved such as Eric, the proud owner of the Halo Car. Eric joined the OC Blogger Bash festivities and brought along his classic Buick Invicta. It is a beautiful vintage car.   The car had a lot of admirers at the event.

The OC Blogger Bash also united many bloggers under one roof for lots of fun and networking. One of the reasons I enjoy attending local events is to meet people I speak to online.   I  had the opportunity to meet fellow bloggers at the event such as Mama Noticias and Sassy Mama in LA.   It’s always great to meet people in person.

There were several wonderful outfits which reflected the classic styles of the 1960s. The fashion of the early 1960s reflected elegance and simplicity with form fitted waists, including some classic hairstyles.  The standouts, Kim Tracy and Suz Broughton won the best dressed prizes. They looked fabulous at the event.

Thank you Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau and sponsors for hosting a spectacular event in the beautiful city of Anaheim. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying everything that the city of Anaheim has to offer and more.
