Wordless Wednesday: Celebrating Bloggy Bootcamp Day #bloggybootcamp

I’m celebrating Bloggy Bootcamp Day today! About one year ago I attended my very first blogging conference for women.  Bloggy Bootcamp is my favorite blogging conference for women because the speakers share the ins and outs of blogging professionally and equip attendees with the tools to become a successful blogger.  If you have not already registered, please take the time to check out the tour schedule here.

I also had the opportunity to finally meet blogging friends face to face and make new friends.  I also  published my very first live blogging post at my favorite session, Business for Blogging – Live Blogging from Bloggy Bootcamp, during the conference. The Business for Blogging session is the best blogging advice to date that I have received!

Today I’m sharing memorable quotes &  photos from Bloggy Bootcamp San Diego 2011.  I’m looking forward to meeting new faces and making new friends at the 2012 Bloggy Bootcamp in Las Vegas as well.  See you in in Vegas baby!

"Every time one of us gets better – - we ALL get better." -Tiffany Romero"

"Use amazing photos – Whatever your product is make a storyboard. If you have beautiful pictures, people will come back." -Lisa Leonard

"Your job as a blogger is to sell your best asset. Make sure to highlight whatever you do best in your media kit." -Francesca Banducci

Question:  Are you planning on attending Bloggy Bootcamp 2012? What is your most memorable moment at a Blogging conference?

  1. I was at the San Diego one as well and really enjoyed it – Vegas in 2009 as well. Love the SITS gals and the boot camps are amazing! Happy belated BCD!

  2. I went to BlogHer 2010 in NY and loved meeting one Latina food blogger I’d been communicating with for a while. Since then, she and I have continued to chat and exchange on a more personal level. For me, meeting her has been the best experience at a blogging conf. Though I even spoke and led a panel at another in 2012, connecting in person is such a great highlight for me!

  3. These are always great! I will never forget my chariot ride with you and the girls in San Diego lol.

  4. Looks like a great time! I am so excited to be going to Hispanicize next month and to BlogHer in August. I’m really looking forward to meeting the women face to face and hearing their voice.

  5. My favorite memories from a blogging conference would have be my first blogher in Chicago. It was also the first time I had been away from kids for more than one night. And speaking at HIspanicize was amazing!

  6. I so wish I had more opportunities to attend more conferences. It sounds like this one offers really informative sessions, which is what I prefer. Will have to pick your brain sometime to find out what you learned!

  7. Super cool!
Why did you like it so much? Best tip?

  8. Love BBC!!! That’s where I met you! : ) Thanks for the linakage!

  9. My best blogging conference is a tie between Blogalicious and LATISM. I connected with incredible bloggers and learned valuable information on the “business” of blogging. Definite Must Attends!

  10. Been wanting to go to one for a while now!

  11. I’ve heard good things about BBC. Love that it’s workshops and hands-on. Conferences are a great way to connect with your passion and meet those that share the same interests as you.
    Thanks for sharing!
