Although the Latino community accounts for approximately 54 million Americans, Latinos represent less than 13% of national park visitors.

Hispanicize Event and Papiblogger have partnered with The National Park Foundation, American Latino Heritage Fund, Verizon & Chevrolet for an unforgettable American Latino Heritage road trip.

I was selected as one of six social media influencers from across the nation to embark on this epic road trip with the shared mission of visiting historic sites protected by the National Park Service that honor the contributions of Latinos throughout American history.  I’m very excited to partake in this historic event with my family as we trace our Latino heritage in the U.S. and help promote participation of Latinos in National Parks.
