LA River Day of Service 2011

The 22nd annual LA River Day of Service took place in Los Angeles on April 30, 2011.    I was honored to join Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Girls Today Women Tomorrow and Latina Bloggers to support the event. Pine-Sol sponsored the big cleanup event. We met the Girls Today Women Tomorrow Leadership program participants in the morning, cleaned the river and wrapped up the days events with an awards ceremony, food & music.   [Read more…]

LA Latina Bloggers “Discovering Mas” Luncheon

The Los Angeles Latina Bloggers “Discovering Mas” Luncheon is only 3 days away!  The Blogs by Latinas November 6 event will bring together Los Angeles area most influential and creative Latina bloggers for one day of networking, socializing and  lots of fun!  I’m especially excited about the guest speakers,  Jennifer Vides and Waly Sabra.    Jennifer Vides has over 20 years of  PR and Marketing communications experience and is a well-respected Communications Thought leader.  She has held various Senior leadership positions and has worked with many leading businesses.
